Food and organic waste has become a big contributor to climate change. Decomposing food and organic waste that mixes with other landfill waste leads to releasing harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere which result in global warming.

Without sufficient attention regarding this issue in Malaysia has resulted in the lack of facilities and manpower to sort out general waste, organic waste or other harmful chemical waste. This thesis project is to promote recycling food waste and introduce urban farming, which can benefit in solving global warming while also contributing in forming a successful model into a city.
