Overtaken by the tourism industry, Pasar Seni is no longer serving neither the local artists nor the locals. Losing its sense of place and identity, this is where the art culture in Malaysia slowly dies down and fades away. Reinstating the identity of Pasar Seni – an influential and cultural art zone, as initiated is formulated as the aim of the thesis. The objective is to cultivate the art culture in Malaysia by bringing art accessible to all walks of life and congregating all the communities together to achieve community essence, along with improving the art culture in Malaysia.
