Hospice Care in Malaysia is still a fairly new subject to the public. There are a lot of misconceptions and bad impressions towards the concept of hospice. Many do not recognise the role of hospice care in healthcare and how crucial healing architecture is in a hospice design. This thesis aims to help destigmatize death and reinvent a new typology for hospice building in Malaysia. The design concept is to heal the user through the inspiration of nature, while the design strategies intend to shape a humble yet approachable hospice to the public  and create a dialogue between human and nature.
