We are currently seeking a System Assurance Engineer to join our growing team in the Railway ISCS/ICSS System division. If you thrive in a challenging environment and are passionate about safety, reliability, and system assurance in rail and other critical industries, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Assurance Management: Define, maintain, and verify the company’s System Assurance processes and tools.
- RAMS Project Management: Manage RAMS project requirements from inception to final quality approval.
- Safety Measurement & RAMS Assurance: Ensure safety measures align with the company’s policies and industry standards (CENELEC, IEC).
- Project Hazard Management: Oversee the Project Hazard Log and resolve pending evidence or mitigations.
- Safety & RAM Analysis: Conduct safety and RAM analysis at the project level.
- Design Recommendations: Propose design improvements based on RAM studies, ensuring system architecture meets RAM targets.
- Safety Case Integration: Establish and ensure completeness of the System/Software Safety Case, integrating safety cases from all relevant units.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with customers, authorities, partners, consultants, and independent safety assessors to ensure safety management practices and demonstrations align with company methodology.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in RAMS/Safety Engineering, preferably within the rail, oil & gas, aerospace, or defense industries. Talented fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with CENELEC and IEC safety standards in Railway ISCS/ICSS systems.
- Safety Principles: Experience with safety principles such as ALARP, SFAIRP, and SIL allocation is highly desirable.
- Documentation Expertise: Ability to produce safety analyses and documentation, including PHA, SHA, IHA, OSHA, FTA, and Safety Cases for railway ISCS/ICSS systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and engage with stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Attention to Detail: A curious, rigorous mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
