Deakin University invites students to apply for the 2025 Blue Marble Study Tour, an exclusive opportunity hosted by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment.
This immersive study tour is designed for students with aspirations to study Science, Engineering, IT, Architecture, or Construction Management at Deakin University. It offers an exciting opportunity to engage in specialized academic workshops, collaborate with diverse peers, and gain a global perspective on your chosen discipline.
Participants will also experience the vibrant cultural scene of Melbourne and Geelong, participating in cultural activities that showcase the unique offerings of these cities.

Program Details – Deakin Blue Marble Study Tour 2025
Program Dates: 26 October – 8 November 2025 (2 weeks)
Number of Students: 30 students in total, selected from partner institutions worldwide (students selected via a competitive application process)
Program Costs:
Deakin University will cover:
Program fees
Australian cultural and wildlife tours (including the Great Ocean Road)
Accommodation and most meals
Private shuttle transportation during the program
Airport transfers (in Australia) and public transport ‘Myki’ card
Students will pay for:
International flights and visa costs
International travel insurance
Extracurricular activities not included in the program
Food and drink not covered as part of the program
Target Students:
Students interested in studying on-campus at Deakin University within the next 1-2 years
Passionate about studying abroad and promoting the Deakin University brand
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at your institution
Selection Criteria:
Completion of the application questionnaire (including a short video outlining motivation for participation)
Discipline area of interest (students planning to study Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, IT, Environment, Sustainability, or Science)
Academic results (CGPA/GPA)
English proficiency level
Gender balance
