
Performance Indicators for PEOs
UTAR’s Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours graduates’ performance are assessed in the domain of technical competence, soft skills, leadership, professionalism and life-long learning. The technical competence domain is assessed based on the graduates’ role and remuneration in the organization. In addition, awards and adulation garnered while carrying out his/her duties is considered in this domain. Graduates’ role in preparing and presenting technical reports and human skills in managing business relationships are recognized and assessed in the soft skill domain. The domain of leadership evaluates the graduates’ qualities as team leader in the organization. The graduates’ association with professional bodies and adherence to ethical standards as well as responsibility towards environment and sustainability is assessed under the professionalism domain. Finally, the graduates’ desire to uplift his/her knowledge via further studies and technical talk is assessed under the domain of life-long learning.
