The HKUST Summer Camp 2017 program will comprise several types of activities – (i) seminars and workshops on a variety of topics covering science, technology, management, and social science, (ii) training in English for Study Purposes, (iii) visits and outings to get to know Hong Kong, some of its history, culture, and developments in its tech start-ups. The camp dates are 1-12 August 2017

This is a great chance for students to learn a few things in the summer – improve their English study skills, get to know Hong Kong and their University, and meet with their counterparts from other SE and East Asian students. Please note that by SE and E Asia, they mean Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. The class is going to be small, about 30 students in all. This is not a large group of say 200 or 300 students. They can be a closely connected group after this camp.
