All announcements pertaining to Final Year Project will be posted here. Students are advised to visit this site regularly for updates.


  • Students who are interested to propose their own Final Year Project (FYP) titles must liaise with a staff member for supervision FOUR weeks before the start of the trimester (Template for FYP title proposal by students)
  • FYP I lecture class (Jan 2021):
    • Date:  every Thursday
    • Time:   10am-12noon
  • FYP II briefing (Jan 2021) :
             Date:  22nd January 2021 (Friday)
            Time:   12pm-2pm
          Medium:   Zoom
  • Important timeline for FYP II (‘Planned Schedule for Project II for detailed schedule):
    • submission of Log Book to supervisor (week 2,4,6,8,10)
    • submission of poster: Week 11
    • Submission of Final Report and other related documents: Friday, Week 13
    • Oral Presentation / Demonstration: Week 14
    • Submission of a summary of 3 posters (from poster competition) and collection of commented final reports: Week 15
    • Submission of Commented Final Reports and Corrected Soft-bound Final Report: Friday, Week 16
